New Features

  • Adds a handling option to set a duration where minesweeper input isn’t accepted after a line clear. The default is 50 milliseconds
  • Adds an option to Video Settings to show a 4-tile preview of the space above the board where tetrominoes spawn. This space may already be visible on certain aspect ratios (and certain board sizes), but this option will ensure that the preview is always shown
  • Adds a 4-second startup clock to game modes that track speed (40L Sprint) and game modes with a time limit (Ultra)
  • Adds support for windowed mode. Adds a hotkey to toggle fullscreen/windowed mode (F11)

Localization

  • Adds support for Simplified Chinese -- Thank you Thomaszqy!
  • Localization updates from our translators
  • Steam page translations have been created for Simplified Chinese, Japanese, and Korean. Steam now lists these as planned supported languages

Title Screen

  • Title screen now demos the last played game mode. This will be more interesting in the Steam release, where burning and frozen tiles can appear
  • Pressing Escape on the Title screen will now open the settings
  • Opening the settings in the title screen will now pause the game and activate a low-pass filter
  • Wishlist on Steam button will now switch between the two possible subtitles every 10 seconds

Misc

  • Adds ThomasZQY to the credits!
  • Adds tooltips that explain handling sliders
  • Adds bouncy logo to the start of the credits screen
  • Removes the bouncy logo from the credits game mode
  • Removes the Unity splash screen when the game starts
  • Adds elastic tween to menu selection

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed bug that allowed the active tetromino to clip into tiles on the board when lines clear. As a fallback if this were to occur, such as when frozen tiles make it impossible to fit the active tetromino in its current location, the active tetromino will now be kicked upwards until it finds a space to fit
  • Fixed a bug causing double hard drop protection to not work properly
  • Fixed a bug causing the active tetromino to not fall when a line is cleared
  • Fixed a bug causing tetrominoes to stop falling without locking if the tile below it is removed while locking
  • Fixed a number of errors that prevented WebGL from loading
  • Fixed a bug causing null errors in ghost tiles
  • Fixed a bug causing the game to not end when a piece spawns above the board and doesn't fall
  • Fixed a bug causing tile backgrounds to not render when the game ends and the tile is incorrectly flagged
  • Fixed a bug that caused tiles to be rotated, affecting the tile shading and direction of animations
  • Fixed a bug causing the title screen to not scale to your computer's aspect ratio
  • Fixed a bug causing clicked mines to sometimes not appear
  • Fixed a bug causing clicked mines to enlarge when hovered
  • Fixed a lot of bugs involving UI rescaling and tweening
  • Fixed a bug causing the board to not be centered
  • Fixed a bug causing the preview piece to spawn fragmented and outside of the preview box when the game ends by the new piece overlapping a tile above the board
  • Fixed a bug causing tooltips to be visible when a menu appears over the target object
  • Fixed bug causing tooltips to not appear on settings menu in the game scene
  • Fixes bug causing the quit button in the pause menu to close the game instead of returning to the title screen
  • Fixed a bug causing gui elements to be rotated when the game ends
